Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Golden Films Productions for photography or videography services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all clients and constitute a binding agreement between you and Golden Films Productions.

2. Services Provided

Golden Films Productions provides professional photography and videography services including but not limited to:

  • Wedding photography and videography
  • Event documentation
  • Portrait photography
  • Corporate photography and videography
  • Quinceañera photography and videography
  • Family and maternity photography
  • Graduation photography

3. Booking and Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before the event date. Late payments may result in cancellation of services without refund.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event date will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellations made within 60 days of the event date will result in forfeiture of all payments made. We understand that circumstances can change, and we will work with you when possible.

5. Copyright and Usage Rights

Golden Films Productions retains all copyrights to the images and videos created. Clients receive personal usage rights for sharing with family and friends. Commercial use requires a separate licensing agreement and additional fees.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for our services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We maintain professional insurance to protect both parties.

7. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, or government restrictions.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Deposit Policy

All deposits paid to Golden Films Productions are non-refundable. This deposit secures your date and compensates for the time spent on consultation, planning, and preparation, as well as turning away other potential clients.

Cancellation Timeline

The following cancellation policy applies based on the timing of your cancellation:

More than 90 days before event: Deposit forfeited, no additional charges
60-90 days before event: Deposit + 25% of remaining balance forfeited
30-60 days before event: Deposit + 50% of remaining balance forfeited
Less than 30 days before event: Full payment forfeited

Weather and Force Majeure

In case of extreme weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, illness, or government restrictions), we will work with you to reschedule at no additional cost. If rescheduling is not possible, a partial refund may be provided at our discretion.

Vendor Cancellation

If Golden Films Productions must cancel due to illness, emergency, or equipment failure, we will provide a full refund or assist in finding a replacement photographer/videographer of similar caliber at no additional cost to you.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible service, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate event details, timeline, and contact information
  • Ensure payment schedules are met as agreed
  • Provide reasonable access to photograph/film the event
  • Inform photographer of any restrictions or special requests in advance
  • Assist with vendor coordination when necessary
  • Provide a detailed shot list if specific images are required
  • Ensure the venue allows photography/videography

Photographer Responsibilities

Golden Films Productions commits to:

  • Arrive on time with professional equipment
  • Capture images/video as outlined in the package
  • Deliver edited content within the agreed timeframe
  • Maintain professional conduct throughout the event
  • Protect and backup all captured content
  • Provide high-quality, professionally edited final products
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information

Delivery Timeline

Edited photos will be delivered within 4-6 weeks of the event date. Video content will be delivered within 8-10 weeks. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee of 50% of the total package cost.

Image/Video Editing

Basic color correction, exposure adjustment, and cropping are included in all packages. Advanced retouching is available for an additional fee. Clients may request up to 5 specific edit requests per session at no additional cost.

Equipment and Backup

We use professional-grade equipment and maintain backup gear for all events. All images and videos are backed up immediately after capture and stored securely on multiple devices and cloud storage.

Delivery Method

Final products will be delivered via secure online gallery where clients can download high-resolution files. Physical media delivery is available upon request for an additional fee.
